Sugar skull molds are a traditional folk art from Mexico to celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). A sugar mixture is placed in the molds and then decorated when formed and dried.
The large sunken eyes allow for colorful and intricate painting. This is a 2 piece mold with the back of the skull the same size as the front.
